Joshua is a documentary photographer based in Toronto, Canada. In 2006 he moved to China where he lived and worked for seven years, then he made a move to Taiwan for a further three years. His time living in Asia gave him the opportunity to travel to various countries and view a much wider perspective and understanding of the world. He gained a vast array of experience in photography, giving him the ability to adapt to harsh and quickly changing situations. Since moving back home to Toronto in 2016, Joshua has focused on documenting various social issues and the vibrant streets of the city. His style of photography is personal and in very close proximity to his subjects, thus conveying a sense of intimacy and connection for the viewer. Joshua has worked with various publications and organizations such as Toronto Life, The Grind, Fridays For Future, Uma Nota Productions and High Street Cannabis just to name a few. These assignments have varied from food, music and culture to social issues around Toronto. Joshua is currently available for assignments.
